Injectable fillers:

Kybella is the only FDA approved injectable that destroys fat cells in the treatment area under the chin to improve your profile.
How Kybella works:

The active ingredient in Kybella is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, Kybella destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

Sculptra

Sculptra aesthetics is an FDA approved injectable that’s used to treat mild to severe facial wrinkles. Unlike other injectables that fill wrinkles, Sculptra Aesthetic is made from a poly-L-Lactic acid that stimulates the body’s natural production of collagen over time.
Sculptra provides up to 80 percent improvement in the treated area and lasts up to two years.

Restylane

Restylane line of products offers tailored treatment for individual, natural-looking results.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a volumizing filler, provides an instant lift, filling wrinkles and folds to help restore a more youthful look to your skin. And it continues to work with your body, stimulating the natural production of collagen for a more refreshed appearance that can last up to a year or more in many patients.

Belotero

is a dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid. This acid is found naturally within your skin, but it diminishes as you age. Because hyaluronic acid is found naturally within your skin, it is safe and effective at adding volume and smoothing out the skin’s surface. Once injected, Belotero instantly binds with the water within your dermis and helps fill-in creases, lines, and wrinkles. The changes to your face are immediately apparent.

The main benefit of Belotero is its unique mixture. While some fillers create a puffy or lumpy look, Belotero helps to avoid this. In addition, some fillers create a bluish tinge because of the Tyndall effect in areas with thin skin, Belotero doesn’t.

Belotero is effective in:

nasolabial folds (the lines that travel from the side of the nose to the edge of the mouth)
finer lines like those you find above the lips
beneficial in helping fill in the hollows that occur under the eyes in the area known as the tear troughs.

Disclamer:

All wrinkle fillers have a downside, including the risk of allergic reaction and the formation of tiny bumps under the skin. In some cases, those bumps may be permanent. Typically, the wrinkle fillers with longer-lasting effects are the ones more likely to cause side effects.

Botolinum toxin injections

Botolinum toxin (Type A) is a cosmetic injection that blocks the nerve signals that cause muscles to contract. This effect relaxed and smooths the look of lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive movements on the face-most commonly, between the brows, crows-feet around the eyes, and horizontal forehead creases.

We offer the following:

When to consider Botolinum Toxin:

deep lines between your eyes make you tired, angry, sad, or upset
Your facial expressions cause wrinkles in and around your eyes and forehead
There is asymmetry in your eyebrows or face that can be corrected by relaxing a muscle

THE FOLLOWING IS THE RANGES OF BOTOX PER UNIT:

In the glabella, which is the area between the eyes usually in women takes between 16-28 units and in males takes between 18-30 units
For correction of crow’s feet bilaterally 18-24 units,
Horizontal forehead lines 8-16units,
Bunny lines on the nose 4-6units.
Upper vertical lip lines 4-8units are needed,
For a gummy smile bilaterally 2-4units,
Marionette lines bilaterally 2-8units, and for chin dimpling 4-8 units
Please keep in mind that the above are average units
used, patient may need more or less than the average listed depending on their muscle strength.

Aquagold® Microneedling
